How it all began...

In 1971, Hans Michael Strixner laid the foundation stone for our company when he founded Strixner Industrie & Handel GmbH in Jahnstraße in Munich.

A new chapter: 1974-1984

1974 marked the founding of Holzinger Electronic GmbH with a store at the corner of Schillerstraße 25 and Landwehrstraße in Munich. This was followed by years of growth and development, characterized by the new building at Schillerstraße 29 in 1980.

1984 was a decisive year for us when the two companies were merged and took on the name Strixner+Holzinger Electronic GmbH. This step manifested itself in stores along Schillerstraße 25-29 in Munich, an area also known as the Schillicon Valley or Isar Valley.

New paths: 1995-2008

Change was inevitable, and in 1995 Strixner+Holzinger Electronic GmbH was sold. As a result, three independent companies were founded, including Strixner+Holzinger Electronic Halbleiter Vertrieb GmbH. Under the management of Siegfried Oberberger, an experienced authorized signatory of the previous Strixner+Holzinger Electronic GmbH, the company continued on its path.

2008 marked a milestone when we moved to new premises in Gräfelfing and changed our name to SH-Halbleiter Electronic Vertrieb GmbH. With this step, all retail stores were closed while we continued to concentrate on our core focus: hard-to-find and discontinued components.

A look into the future: 2013 to today

Our growth continued and in 2013 we moved to even larger premises in Greifenberg am Ammersee. The focus of our company remains on providing solutions for bottlenecks through our own extensive warehouse. On request, we can of course also procure components that are not available from stock, provided they are still available.

In 2015, the company passed into the ownership of Daniela Reidl, who was previously an authorized signatory and now serves as Managing Director. Under her leadership, we continue to move into the future with confidence and commitment, while offering our customers high-quality services and products in the field of semiconductors.

Our new online presence

To keep pace with the changing needs and expectations of our customers, we have recently launched a new online store. Our aim is to provide a seamless and user-friendly shopping experience that allows our customers to access our extensive range quickly and conveniently.

In addition to our new online store, we have also introduced a fresh branding for SH Semiconductors. This new look reflects our values, our commitment to quality and our spirit of innovation. We are proud to offer our customers not only high-quality products, but also an engaging and modern brand experience.
